Swedish Meatballs

Mix Hamburg, egg, salt, pepper & nutmeg. Grate onion and add to Hamburg. Pick the bread into small pieces and add. Mix all well

Roll into meatballs and fry in medium layer of hot oil (highly recommend not a Teflon coated pan because the meat will not cook correctly to make the gravy.) until brown. Turn occasionally. Remove from pan as cooked.

Make gravy by adding 1 can of beef broth to the fry pan with the drippings from the meatballs. Mix together a cup and a half to 2 cups of cream with a couple of tablespoons of flour and some salt & pepper and add to the drippings and broth. Stir until thickened.

Pour the gravy over meatballs and bake at 350 for approximately 1/2 hour
