Macaroni & Cheese
Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c milk
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Cups of Macaroni
  • 8oz Cheddar Cheese, cut in cubes

Directions

  • Cook macaroni
  • Cook and stir butter, onion, salt & pepper over medium heat until onion is tender. Blend in flour, stirring constantly until blended and bubbly add milk & blend. Stir in cheese.
  • Pour cheese mixture over macaroni and bake at 375 for 30 min.
  • I would put a light covering of bread crumbs over the top and a couple of pats of butter.
  • You can vary by adding cubed ham or hot dog pieces
